Technical Lighting Manager

About the Position

Ledvance–Osram is hiring a Technical Lighting Manager to lead and manage the technical execution of lighting projects and product support activities. This role requires in-depth knowledge of lighting systems, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to provide technical leadership across teams. The ideal candidate will oversee lighting designs, support sales with technical expertise, and ensure all solutions meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all technical functions related to lighting products, including LED lamps, panels, architectural fixtures, and outdoor lighting solutions.
• Review, develop, and approve lighting layouts, BOQs, technical drawings, and project proposals.
• Conduct and oversee site visits, installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Provide technical assistance to the sales team through presentations, product demonstrations, and customized solution recommendations.
• Deliver technical training to clients, dealers, contractors, and internal teams on product specifications and installation practices.
• Ensure compliance with lighting standards, safety regulations, and performance requirements across all projects.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and prepare reports for active and completed projects.
• Coordinate with product management and R&D teams to share market feedback and support product improvements and development.
• Guide and support junior engineers and technicians during project execution when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in lighting design, lighting engineering, project execution, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with lighting design software such as Dialux, Relux, or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage clients and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel for site inspections, client meetings, and technical support assignment
