Role Purpose:
Provide technical & administrative information to the others working on a project to ensure that work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.
Key Accountabilities:

Review project contract drawings, BOQ and Specifications to define scope of work for the technical team.

Coordinate with Project Construction team to ensure construction processes are followed according to best practices.

Participate in the preparation of project’s logistics with Project Construction team.

Supervise, monitor and control technical team’s technical productivity versus project program.

Coordinate with other working departments on site including Construction team, QA/QC team, contracts team, QS team and MEP coordination team.

Ensure effective communications and coordination between project stakeholders (Client, Engineers & construction teams) for all technical issues.

Coordinate and follow up with Procurement department to receive Suppliers/Subcontractors Endorsement, in close coordination with the Planning department to meet project program.

Monitor and follow up with Subcontractors/Suppliers from Endorsement stage till completion of the agreed work on site.

Monitor and follow up on shop drawings prepared by CTO/Subcontractors; ensure compliance with project program, design and specification.

Monitor and follow up on material submittals prepared by Subcontractors/Suppliers; ensure compliance with project program, design and specification.

Monitor and follow up on shop drawings, RFI’s and material submittals schedule, and all technical correspondence with consultant/Client to obtain final approval.

Frequently update records of additions, deletions and variation with Consultant, Client and Subcontractors, in close coordination with contract and QS project team.

Prepare and present comprehensive reports to higher management on project technical progress.

Monitor and review project’s as-built drawings prepared by CTO/Subcontractors, in close coordination with QA/QC and project construction team to ensure successful project handover as per project program.

Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.

Report all violations and resolved on time

Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
-
Bachelor /Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university or colleges.

10 years relevant working experience in well-established Contracting Companies in GCC
-
Has been responsible for major construction of multimillions projects.

Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills and sound judgment.

Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients.

A creative thinker and excellent organizer.

Knowledge of Business Strategy and planning

Ensures administrative efficiency, proper procedure, implementation of policies

Excellent Oral and written skill in English.
