Technical Manager

Must be a graduate in Architecture with 7–10 years of experience in technical drafting, coordination -Civil, Architectural and MEP- and CAD management (with BIM proficiency would be a plus), preferably within a Contracting firm. He/ she should be able to:

· Manage and oversee all CAD production for architectural and interior design projects.

· Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and drawing protocols to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

· Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure drawings align with design intent, construction requirements, and local regulations.

· Review and approve shop drawings, details, and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance.

· Train, mentor, and support CAD technicians and junior team members, ensuring proper use of drawing systems and company standards.

· Collaborate with project site team and designers to develop and refine technical solutions and construction details.

· Ensure timely delivery of drawing packages in coordination with project timelines and deadlines.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical drawing issues, maintaining high-quality output under tight schedules.

· Manage software and licenses related to AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.

Skills:

· Expert proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Sketch up and other BIM tools is an advantage.

· Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and materials for high-end residential and commercial interiors.

· Excellent organizational and coordination skills with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively across disciplines.

· Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards is preferred.
