Job Title: Technical Manager (Interior Designing)

Location: Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager specializing in Interior Design to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team in Al-Khobar. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical aspects of interior design, ensuring that all design elements align with project goals, client expectations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Oversight: Lead and manage all interior design phases, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior design with overall project objectives.
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of design solutions.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and expertise in interior design, including materials selection, space planning, and aesthetics.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing any concerns and providing updates on project progress.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior designers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Architecture and ID, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a PMC or construction environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) and familiarity with building codes and regulations.
  • Project Management: Strong understanding of project management principles, with experience in managing large-scale projects.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with luxury residential and hospitality projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
