Application Question(s):
- Walk me through a recent Dubai/UAE project where you owned authority approvals (e.g., DM/Trakhees/DDA/RTA/Utilities). What were the top 2 bottlenecks, how did you unblock them, and what was the final approval timeline vs. baseline?
- Describe your end-to-end clash detection/closure workflow across Arch/Str/MEP/Facade. Which tools did you use (Revit/Navisworks), how did you structure model federation and issue tracking, and how did you enforce discipline with subs?
- How do you ensure first-time acceptance of shop drawings and submittals? Give an example of your checklist/QC process, typical reviewer comments you pre-empt, and how you reduced returns on a live project.
- Tell me about a significant design change you governed—from RFI to VO. How did you document the basis, quantify cost/time impact, align Planning/Procurement/QS, and prevent scope creep?
- Give one VE proposal you initiated that was accepted. What was the technical rationale, what alternatives did you reject and why, and how did you prove no compromise on performance or durability?
