*Job Overview:*

The Senior Technical Coordinator - Site Based is responsible for ensuring the correct execution and implementation of all architectural, fit-out, and joinery works on the construction site. This role plays an important part in maintaining alignment between approved drawings, design intent, and actual construction, while resolving technical challenges on-site in coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. This position requires a hands-on, detail oriented professional with deep expertise in high-end interior and architectural finishes.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Oversee and verify the execution of architectural, fit-out, and joinery works on site in accordance with approved shop drawings, material submittals, and project specifications.

Resolve design and coordination challenges in real-time to prevent project delays and rework.

Coordinate closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and foremen to ensure accurate and timely implementation of works.

Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design, highlighting any deviations or non-conformities.

Lead technical coordination meetings on site, ensuring integration between architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines.

Review and validate the installation of materials and finishes on-site, ensuring compliance with approved submittals, specifications, and quality standards.

Issue and follow up on redlines, site sketches, and field changes, ensuring proper documentation and communication to all relevant parties.

Assist in the resolution of clash issues arising from site constraints or conflicts between drawings and actual conditions.

Collaborate with QA/QC to ensure architectural and fit-out works meet the required standards and project specifications.

Support the construction team in sequencing and technical planning, especially where detailing or coordination affects progress.

Coordinate with the office-based design/technical teams to raise RFIs, suggest modifications, and communicate site feedback for ongoing coordination.

Ensure all installations are in line with HSE regulations, site procedures, and permit requirements.

Participate in site walkdowns, snagging/de-snagging processes, and the preparation of handover documentation.

*Requirements:*

*Education:*

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in architectural execution, with a minimum of 5 years in a site-based technical coordination role.

Proven expertise in luxury high-end projects, with strong emphasis on interiors, joinery, and finishes.

Hands-on involvement in technical resolution, detailing and coordination on site.

Extensive knowledge of buildability, construction sequencing, and site constraints.

*Skills:*

Strong ability to interpret and enforce architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and using field coordination tools.

Excellent site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of local building codes, authority regulations, and inspection procedures.

Proficient in managing technical documentation on site.
