Technical Manager – Generative AI

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Manager – Generative AI with strong project management

capabilities and hands-on AI/ML expertise to lead end-to-end AI initiatives. The ideal

candidate will manage a team of junior AI engineers, drive solution design, oversee

deployment pipelines, and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver

scalable and production-ready AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Generative AI / LLM-based solutions.

• Provide architectural guidance on model selection, fine-tuning, prompt engineering,

and evaluation.

• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure technical quality across AI

deliverables.

• Stay updated with advancements in GenAI, NLP, and ML frameworks.

Project & Delivery Management

• Own end-to-end AI project lifecycle — requirement gathering, planning, execution,

monitoring, deployment, and post-release support.

• Define timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.

• Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests.

Team Management

• Mentor and manage a team of junior AI/ML engineers and data scientists.

• Need to do skill development plans, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Foster a collaborative and innovation-driven team culture.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and clients to translate

business problems into AI solutions.

• Provide regular progress updates and technical recommendations to internal and

external stakeholders.

Deployment & MLOps

• Oversee model deployment pipelines, CI/CD for ML, and production monitoring.

• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance optimization of AI systems.

• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for infrastructure planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in AI/ML development with at least 2 years in a team

leadership or technical management role.

• Strong experience in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, or Deep Learning.

• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch), and data processing

libraries.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and containerization tools (Docker,

Kubernetes).

• Hands-on exposure to MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and model deployment strategies.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture.

• Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.

• Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, or similar

ecosystems.

• Exposure to data security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

• Certification in Project Management (PMP / Scrum Master) is a plus.

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
