Technical Manager (Supplier Engineering)

In a context of strong development, DEDIENNE AEROSPACE INDIA PVT LTD wishes to integrate a Technical Manager – Supplier Engineering who is a self-starter and passionate about engineering to deliver quality product offering for Aerospace Domain especially in Ground Support Equipment and Tools. Domain expertise required in Metallurgy, Advanced Manufacturing processes in Machining, Fabrication and Surface treatment is a must.

////// JOB DESCRIPTION

Driving the responsibility of Technical Manager Role, candidate will be responsible for delivering results by collaborating within the cross-function team, overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes and provide technical support to our Supply Chain Partners in their Manufacturing processes. The role requires a focus on improving process efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting production goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and a proactive approach to problem-solving

To do this, you will be required to :

• Study the technical documents such as Drawings, manuals, testing requirements etc. and ensure to convey the specifications accurately to the supply chain partners
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Periodic visit to supply chain partner units and study the technical compliance of the products manufactured; Monitor & Report the progress on the manufacturing of products.
• Provide technical support to production teams for troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of process changes, quality issues, and performance metrics.
• Assist in the design and implementation of tooling and fixtures.
• Prepare and present reports on manufacturing performance and improvement initiatives.
• Setup of the BOM of the new products in ERP
• Identify opportunities of improving manufacturing and cost of the products
• Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed specifications
• Lead continuous improvement with the supplier on recurring technical issues

////// PROFILE

Experience-5-8 years of experience and expertise in Metallurgy, Advanced Manufacturing processes in Machining, Fabrication and Surface treatment is a must. .

Education -A Bachelor’s degree / Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy/ Aerospace is required

Skills -

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, coupled with hands-on experience, is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset for this role.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
