Technical MEP Engineer

Roles & responsibilities

  • Lead MEP design efforts, ensuring alignment with project goals, client requirements, and industry best practices for innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of MEP designs, calculations, and specifications, providing expert technical input to guarantee accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors, facilitating effective communication and coordination to resolve design conflicts and optimize project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain MEP design standards and guidelines, promoting consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all projects.

Desired candidate profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university, providing a solid foundation in engineering principles.
  • Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license, demonstrating expertise, experience, and commitment to ethical practice and project success.
  • Certified in LEED, WELL, or other relevant sustainability certifications, showcasing a dedication to environmentally responsible design and construction.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in MEP design and engineering within the building construction industry, offering a proven track record of successful project delivery.
