L'Oréal is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Merchandising manager to lead our e-commerce merchandising efforts within IT Digital. The team this role will be part of is instrumental in delivering critical features and functionalities across approximately 60 D2C sites in the Americas (US, CA, and LATAM) leveraging the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform and L'Oréal's proprietary NGLORA framework.

This hands-on expert will be pivotal in defining and executing our technical merchandising solution on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), directly impacting online sales and enhancing the customer experience across our global brand portfolio.

You will be responsible for translating complex business objectives and market insights into actionable SFCC configurations, driving key e-commerce merchandising solutions that have a direct impact on the brands’ revenue and KPIs, and ensuring optimal SEO, Accessibility, and Performance for both new site launches and existing ecommerce sites. This is a highly influential role that requires deep technical mastery of SFCC Business Manager and its capability to support the brands’ merchandising efforts and strategy.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead SFCC Merchandising: Define and implement advanced merchandising solutions across complex omni-sites, multi-zone, multi-currency SFCC environments.
  • Expert SFCC Configuration: Masterfully configure product catalogs, promotions, search, content slots, and other website features specific configurations done within SFCC Business Manager.
  • Drive Key Initiatives: Lead SFCC merchandising tasks for critical projects within Loreal Americas and Loreal Global, developing training and enforcing L’Oreal’s best practices.
  • Optimize for Discoverability & Performance: Improve solutions related to SEO (URL redirects, sitemaps, product feeds), ensure Accessibility compliance, and fine-tune caching/asset optimization for peak site performance, along with the development team, agencies and brands.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Manage and resolve complex configuration-related incidents, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Data-Driven Leadership: Leverage advanced analytics and Brands’ tracking to participate in the brands’ merchandising decisions related to new features and new site launches.
  • System Integration & AI: Understand data flows from PIM, HIP, ERP (SAP), SFMC, CRM, 3rd party vendors, etc and optimize merchandising. Understand and execute the adoption of SFCC AI tools for personalized merchandising per brands’ requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a critical bridge between business, marketing, UX/UI, product, and technical teams, fostering alignment and ensuring flawless execution across various time zones.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-7 years in e-commerce merchandising solutioning & execution. 3+ years with a business influence responsibility, leveraging SFCC Framework and Business Manager for high-volume, global businesses.
  • SFCC Expert: Mastery of SFCC Business Manager for complex multi-site, multi-currency setups, including sophisticated catalog, promotion, search, and content management.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of data manipulation, e-commerce SEO, and awareness with enterprise systems (PIM, ERP, SFMC, etc).
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate business goals into technical execution, interpret complex data, and drive impactful merchandising decisions.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and time zones.
  • Methodology: Expert in Agile development methodologies (Kanban preferred).
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer science or other relevant disciplines.

Additional Benefits Information As Follows:
Salary Range: $98,400 - $140,200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
