The Role
Lead technical operations as the primary connection between clients and internal teams. Bridge business needs with technical solutions through deep business understanding, proactive communication, and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Business Partnership
- Serve as primary technical contact for clients with availability for emergency support anytime
- Negotiate and manage SLAs, ensuring clear expectations and accountability
- Conduct client reviews, present metrics, and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Build client trust through transparency, responsiveness, and consistent delivery
Technical Triage & Problem Resolution
- Understand client business operations deeply to provide first-level support and accurate triage
- Assess and resolve issues independently before escalating to development teams
- When escalation is needed, provide development teams with clear information: what, where, when, and business impact
- Maintain high uptime through proactive monitoring and rapid incident response
- Manage technical escalations with urgency and clear communication
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and CTO on strategy and progress meetings
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for technical and business stakeholders
- Streamline cross-department communication to improve project delivery timelines
- Ensure alignment between project plans, client expectations, and operational execution
Process Optimization & Documentation
- Design structured documentation and reporting systems for transparency and compliance
- Create knowledge transfer materials and SOPs
- Prepare periodic operational and system performance reports for official client reporting purposes (weekly, Monthly, Yearly).
- Oversee vendor management and operational budgets
Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years in technical operations managing Software Platforms and Intelligent Hardware Systems
- 2+ years leading teams and managing client relationships
- Proven track record of SLA negotiation and management
- Experience collaborating with Project Management and Development teams
Skills & Attributes
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Exceptional communication, comfortable presenting to executives and technical teams
- Ability to quickly understand client business processes and technical environments
- Skilled at technical triage and issue diagnosis before escalation
- Problem-solver with business acumen and customer-first mindset
- Professional and presentable in all client interactions
- Available and responsive at any time for client emergencies
- Calm under pressure with strong decision-making abilities
Nice to Have
- Prior experience delivering or operating systems powered by AI/ML, with exposure to production environments and real-world operational challenges.
- Experience managing or operating projects involving smart cameras, computer vision systems, or edge-based sensing technologies (e.g., ANPR, CCTV, or IoT camera platforms).
