Technical Operations Specialist

As a Technical Operations Support Specialist, you will play a key role in the success of our installations and ongoing maintenance processes. You will be working with a dockerized tech stack running on Linux, with applications including Next.js, Node.js, C# .NET, redis, SQLite3, and Elixir. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, customer interaction skills, and collaborative troubleshooting abilities.

Additional Note: Although this role is primarily software deployment and support related, we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in IT, Networking, DevOps, or Information Security who would like to expand on their skillset. Your experience in these fields can bring valuable perspectives to our technical operations and support processes.

Responsibilities

  • Client Installations: Deploy our software platform remotely at client sites. This includes setting up and configuring software applications within our technology stack.
  • Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing support for existing installations, ensuring the smooth operation of the systems we manage. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, upgrade when sensible.
  • Collaborative Troubleshooting: Work closely with the development and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Provide detailed feedback to contribute to product improvements.
  • Documentation: Create and update documentation for installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices. Ensure knowledge is shared effectively within the team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in installation and maintenance workflows. Contribute to the development of standardized procedures.
  • Customer Interactions: Maintain positive and effective communication with clients. Gather requirements, address concerns, and provide training as needed. Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Ubuntu, NIX, RHEL based systems and Dockerized applications.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, Node.js, C# .NET, redis, SQLite3, and Elixir.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • AI Integration skills preferred

Education and Experience

Previous experience in operations or technical support roles is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
