What You’ll Do: This position is an integral part of the marketing team, providing support across a wide range of functions. Key responsibilities include managing and approving packaging artwork, writing and editing technical content, and designing marketing materials and graphics. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of marketing projects, packaging updates, and content across all brands and contract manufacturing partnerships, maintaining consistency and quality across multiple platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design & Multimedia Responsibilities (70% of duties)

  • Oversee the design and approval of all packaging materials—including labels, bags, and other formats—ensuring accuracy of regulatory information (UPC, GHS, Prop 65, etc.) and compliance with branding, manufacturing, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage artwork, die lines, and print-ready files, maintaining precision and consistency across all packaging projects.
  • Lead the creation and execution of the company’s in-house labeling program, ensuring content accuracy, visual appeal, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather necessary information and deliver timely updates on packaging and design projects.
  • Update and maintain website content related to packaging materials, technical documents, images, and instructional videos to ensure accuracy and consistency with current product specifications.
  • Support the Multimedia Designer in developing engaging visual content and maintaining cohesive branding across all marketing channels including presentations, product imaging, videos, print and digital ads, and maintenance/fulfillment of POP displays.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and other relevant technologies to efficiently complete design and media-related tasks.

Writing & Technical Content Responsibilities (30% of duties)
  • Develop and maintain all technical documents, including technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, manuals, and user guides. Analyze existing content for reuse and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content. Work with internal teams to gather necessary information and understand documentation requirements.
  • Edit and proofread technical materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate cross-training to ensure team coverage and backup.
  • Develop technical and application knowledge of company brands and product lines to effectively promote products to customers.
  • Act as the website liaison, managing updates, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely product launches, resolving site issues, maintaining IT integrations, and monitoring mapping/location tools.
  • Work closely with the technical and business development teams to organize product rollouts and other shared marketing initiatives. Maintain shared files for seamless collaboration.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Senior Management to complete daily tasks and ensure efficient execution. Prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, suppliers, contract manufacturing partners, and customers. Uphold the professional image and reputation of the company, ensuring prompt issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Must perform work with high attention to detail, accuracy of figures, and proper grammar.
  • All other duties as assigned by TCC Materials’ management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • College degree required; 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro), and Windows PC environment.
  • Must provide samples of design work or a portfolio; packaging design experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, paired with effective problem-solving and sharp attention to detail.
  • Solid interpersonal and networking abilities to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to present information effectively and communicate in both group and individual settings.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Exhibits leadership, professionalism, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience in the commercial and residential construction materials industry is preferred.

Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 annually
