Technical Planner

Our client, a globally recognized leader in industrial automation, electrification, and digitalization solutions, is seeking an experienced Technical Planner to support planning, scheduling, and coordination of technical activities for short- to medium-term contractual assignments. Both onsite and remote support options are acceptable. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent planning skills, and experience working in fast-paced project environments.

  • Location: Kuwait
  • Working Days: 6 days per week
  • Contract Duration: 3-6 months (extendable)
  • Salary: To be discussed

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Scheduling:

Develop daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for maintenance, installation, and fabrication activities.

  • Resource Coordination:

Allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment; coordinate closely with internal technical teams.

  • Documentation & Drawings:

Prepare job cards, work instructions, technical documentation, CAD drawings, and progress reports.

  • Monitoring & Reporting:

Track job progress, monitor schedules, analyze performance metrics, and report on cost and timeline adherence.

  • Technical Support:

Act as a bridge between engineering/design teams and site execution, providing technical input as required.

  • Process Improvement:

Analyze historical data to identify efficiency improvements and implement optimized planning solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical background in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools
  • Experience with project controls (budgeting, scope, baseline management)
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in maintenance, industrial, or technical project environments
  • Exposure to both onsite execution and remote planning support models
