Role Overview:
The Technical Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring technical materials, project-related equipment, automotive parts, and service requirements for various business units. The role requires strong technical understanding, vendor management skills, market knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with internal project, workshop, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle procurement requests for project materials, technical equipment, machinery, automotive spare parts, consumables, and services.
  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on technical specifications, lead times, pricing, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate commercial and technical terms to ensure best value.
  • Create and process purchase orders, ensure timely approvals, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Track deliveries, follow up with suppliers, and coordinate with logistics, warehouse, workshop, and project teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Work closely with technical, automotive, and project engineers to understand material specifications and project requirements.
  • Maintain an updated vendor database and develop strong supplier relationships for local and international sourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, budget limits, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance evaluation, and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
  • Prepare procurement status reports, delivery schedules, and spending analyses when required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 6 years of procurement experience, preferably in automotive, technical projects, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of automotive spare parts, mechanical equipment, project materials, and industrial supplies.
  • Proven experience in vendor sourcing, technical bid evaluation, and commercial negotiation.
  • Knowledge of UAE automotive and industrial supplier markets is an advantage.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement requests and work under tight timelines.
  • Integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
