- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in program management.
- Experience in data center planning, constraint enforcement, and supply chain management.
- Experience with machine learning infrastructure deployments.
- Experience with network hardware and data center infrastructure, including liquid cooling and mechanical/electrical supporting systems.
- Experience with physical planning and deployment of machine rack hardware.
- Experience with operations, and mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on how this supports a supply chain.
- Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
As a Technical Program Manager on the Machine Operations and Deployment Engineering, you will coordinate throughout the capacity planning and server floor deployment domains to ensure feasibility, manage inter-project dependencies, and plan server floor deployments for global Google capacity deployments with a focus on machine learning and AI deployments.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Assign physical location's on the server floor ensuring space/power/cooling/networking constraints are met.
- Manage rack placement deployment feasibility across physical placement, construction, network deployments, and fleet reconfigurations.
- Track and manage dependencies to enable the rack deployment.
- Order, manage and design process and tooling to review for feasibility, infrastructure dependency tracking, and execution.
