Job Title: Technical & Project Coordinator – Aluminum & Glass Industry
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical & Project Coordinator with a strong background in the aluminum and glass industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical submissions, project execution, procurement, production, and site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate aluminum and glass projects from award to handover.
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers, and site teams for approvals and project progress.
- Coordinate material procurement, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor fabrication and installation progress to ensure compliance with project schedules.
- Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues in coordination with the engineering team.
- Ensure all materials and installations comply with approved drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections, mock-ups, and consultant/client approvals.
- Maintain project documentation, correspondence, and records.
- Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and project execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the aluminum and glass industry.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, glazing works, curtain walls, doors, windows, and handrails.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Experience with shop drawings, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience coordinating with consultants and architects.
- Knowledge of fabrication, installation, and project planning.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and site practices.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
