We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our professional services team. This role is crucial for our success, acting as the primary liaison between our clients and our internal technical delivery teams (Software Development, Systems Engineering, Data Architecture, etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction and strategic objectives. - Translate complex client business requirements and high-level concepts into clear, actionable technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Conduct regular, transparent project status meetings and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
Technical Oversight and Project Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
- Lead project initiation activities, including kickoff meetings, risk analysis, and defining critical success factors aligned with client goals.
- Provide technical oversight for the project, understanding system architecture, dependencies, and potential technical bottlenecks to ensure project feasibility and maintain solution quality.
- Facilitate technical design reviews and architectural discussions between client stakeholders and the internal engineering team.
- Monitor and track project progress, proactively identifying deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage the project budget, tracking expenditure against planned costs and communicating potential financial impacts to both the client and internal leadership.
Scope, Risk, and Change Management
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Strictly manage project scope, utilizing a formal change control process to evaluate, price, and approve all client-requested modifications or additions to the agreed-upon deliverables (preventing scope creep).
- Ensure the quality of all client-facing deliverables meets contractual obligations and our internal quality standards.
Team Leadership and Coordination
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams (including developers, designers, analysts, and QA specialists) to achieve project milestones.
- Motivate and guide the project team, facilitating clear communication and ensuring all members are aligned with the client’s vision and project objectives.
- Resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative working environment.
Required Qualifications
