Technical Project Manager, Optimus Fleet

What to Expect
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to own all aspects of the Optimus Fleet. This role will bridge engineering, service, field deployment, logistics, manufacturing, etc. to ensure the fleet of bots is properly maintained and ready to be utilized.

What You'll Do
  • Manage allocation, acquisition, and assignment of the bot development fleet

  • Develop deep understanding of the Bot software development cycle, Tesla’s electrical systems, and diagnostic tools

  • Monitor fleet utilization through telemetry data and drive data-informed decisions to optimize performance

  • Triage bot-level issues, build action plans, and drive resolution in collaboration with engineering teams

  • Develop and maintain fleet management processes & tooling (dashboards, ticketing, allocation logic, escalation protocols)

  • Own end-to-end logistics for robot deployments, coordinate transportation of bots, including packaging, crating, insured shipping, customs (if international), and on-site delivery/unloading logistics

  • Understand high/low level technical work done by engineering

  • Comfortable working across hardware, software, and AI organizations

  • 4+ years in fleet operations, field operations, or production operations

Expected Compensation
$96,800 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
