Technical Project Manager (TPM)

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Management & Coordination:
• Support development, maintenance, and validation of integrated program and project schedules.
• Track milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and critical path activities to identify schedule risks and impacts.
• Partner with workstream leads and the PMO to ensure schedules are accurate, up to date, and aligned to governance standards.
• PMO Health Checks & Reporting:
• Assist with PMO health assessments, including schedule quality, delivery performance, risk/issue status, and governance adherence.
• Contribute to program dashboards, scorecards, and status reports for leadership and executive reviews.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for performance improvement.
• Governance & Delivery Support:
• Support PMO processes for risk and issue management, dependency tracking, change control, and milestone governance.
• Participate in governance forums, status reviews, and planning sessions; capture actions, decisions, and follow-ups.
• Ensure adherence to defined delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and PMO standards.
• Tools, Templates & Continuous Improvement:
• Utilize and maintain PMO tools, templates, and standards (schedules, trackers, status reports).
• Identify opportunities to improve PMO workflows, reporting, and schedule accuracy.
• Maintain organized project documentation to support audits and leadership reviews.
  

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager or PMO Analyst supporting IT or enterprise programs.
• Hands-on experience with project and program scheduling, including dependency and milestone management.
• Working knowledge of SDLC and delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting ERP or enterprise system implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
• Familiarity with PMO operations in regulated or complex environments.
• Project management certification or coursework (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
• Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
• Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
