Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Building business to be based at Mumbai.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Customer & Communication Management: Communicate delivery schedules, payment terms, and conditions clearly in line with ABB’s policies and customer expectations.
  • Market & Business Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities while facilitating business growth with industries and consultants for product approvals.
  • Marketing & Value Proposition: Execute marketing activities to promote ABB’s offerings and effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Sales Operations Support: Manage sales administration, support cash collection, and coordinate project management for seamless order execution.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: 8–15 years of relevant experience in the Switchgear industry.
  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive technical understanding of Low Voltage Switchgear products and applications.
  • Business Development: Extensive experience in expanding business growth and meeting sales or market expansion targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with effective team leadership and performance management.
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate across multiple functions.
