The Technical Sales & Proposal Engineer will be responsible for managing the complete tendering and proposal process, developing new business opportunities, and providing technical and commercial support to ensure successful project acquisition and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end tendering process, including identification, evaluation, preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids and proposals.
Review tender documents, contracts, and technical/commercial requirements to ensure compliance with client specifications and company standards.
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, operations) to collect relevant data for tender and proposal preparation.
Prepare competitive quotations, technical proposals, and pricing aligned with company policies and market competitiveness.
Track and monitor ongoing tenders and proposals to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within target markets and industry sectors.
Maintain strong client relationships and conduct regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions to achieve profitable sales outcomes.
Support the achievement of sales targets by identifying and assisting in closing potential opportunities.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and business intelligence reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain and update sales records, tender databases, and CRM systems for reporting and performance tracking.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline1–3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, tendering, or proposal engineering within an industrial or engineering setup.Strong understanding of commercial and technical documentation, bid management, and client relationship handling.
