Technical Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer is responsible for understanding the technical aspects of the company’s products or services, presenting these effectively to potential customers, and closing deals. The role requires a combination of technical expertise and sales acumen to meet customer needs, achieve targets, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services, including technical specifications, applications, and benefits.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with clients.
• Address technical enquiries and provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Gather customer feedback to support product development and identify growth opportunities.
• Provide insights on market trends and customer preferences to support the acquisition of new agencies.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and prepare weekly sales and technical reports.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of industry developments and product innovations.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales of engineering, electrical, or electronic products.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical and electronics products is essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and offer technical solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
