We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Executive with a strong technical understanding and a passion for the software development ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying high-potential leads, crafting tailored proposals, and supporting the sales cycle across Upwork and other freelance platforms. This role is ideal for individuals who aspire to grow in Technical Sales, client management, and business development within a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Job Responsibilities:

Actively manage bidding on Upwork and similar freelance platforms.

Identify high-potential client opportunities aligned with our service stack.

Write tailored, high-quality proposals (not generic templates).

Communicate effectively with prospects to understand project scope, tech needs, and business goals.

Conduct initial discovery conversations to qualify leads and prepare project briefs for technical teams.

Collaborate with Product Owners for accurate estimations and solution recommendations.

Maintain proposal metrics, win-rate reports, and client communications in Zoho CRM.

Assist in preparing Upwork profile updates, case studies, and portfolio maintenance.
Technical Understanding:
The ideal candidate should have a basic-to-intermediate grasp of the technologies and services offered by our Product Operations team, including:

Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Node.js (Express/Nest), Laravel/PHP, Python (FastAPI/Django), GraphQL, REST APIs
- Mobile: React Native
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase
- DevOps: Docker, AWS, Azure, GitHub Actions, CI/CD
- QA Automation: Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Jest
- Design: Figma, Adobe XD
Education:
BSCS (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science) — preferred
Other acceptable degrees:

Additional coursework or certifications in Web Development, AI/ML, or Cloud Computing will be a plus
Required Skills & Attributes:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).

Ability to comprehend and explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.

Confidence in conducting client chats and calls (training will be provided).

Familiarity with platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, or Clutch is a plus.
