KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. About the Company

A European group (Germany, France, Spain) specialised in adhesives, screen printing inks, release agents and chemical solutions for the footwear, sports goods, leather goods, mattresses, and automotive industries.

We supply leading international brands and major manufacturers worldwide, with a strong presence in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

We manages the Pakistan market and is currently expanding its activities, especially in the footwear and sports goods sectors (Sialkot region).

2. Position Overview

We are recruiting a Technical Sales Executive based in Lahore or Sialkot, responsible for developing our industrial adhesives business with manufacturers of:

  • Footwear
  • Footballs and sports goods
  • Leather products

The role combines business development, account management, and technical support on adhesive applications (solvent-based, water-based, PU, primers, hardeners).

This is a field-oriented position, requiring regular visits to factories in Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad and other industrial zones.

3. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and grow sales with footwear and sports manufacturers.
  • Identify new factories, agents, and distributors.
  • Manage existing customers and increase product penetration.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, commercial offers, and sales forecasts.

Technical Support

  • Provide on-site assistance during application trials, bonding tests, and product qualification.
  • Troubleshoot customer production issues related to adhesives (open time, drying, viscosity, peel strength, etc.).
  • Coordinate with our French and German laboratories for technical queries. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build strong relationships with technical managers, production managers and purchasing teams.
  • Become the main point of contact for technical and commercial matters.
  • Conduct regular visits and maintain structured reporting to HQ.
  • Monitor competitor activity (HB Fuller, Intra, Desmodur, Chinese competitors, local blenders).
  • Follow market trends, production cycles and customer developments.
  • Provide quarterly feedback to the French headquarters.
  • Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5–12 years of experience in footwear, sports goods, adhesives, PU systems, or related industrial chemicals.
  • Experience working with or selling to factories in Lahore / Sialkot / Faisalabad.
  • Background with adhesives (PU, CR, water-based) is a strong plus.
  • Existing network in footwear or sports goods is highly valued.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, or Business.
  • Technical diploma with strong industry experience acceptable.

Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand formulations and bonding processes.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Field-oriented, autonomous, reliable, structured.
  • Able to run demonstrations, trials, and resolve technical issues.
  • 30–40 years.
