We are seeking a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to optimize the digital presence, website performance, and organic search visibility for our clients, primarily in the healthcare space.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO deep-dives using advanced tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Google Search Console
- Perform competitive analysis with our internal tools for clients’ primary niche, services and products
- Develop and implement technical SEO strategies to improve website crawlability, indexation, and search engine ranking relevance
- Strategically deploy an internal linking strategy for key terms as well as locations in the case of multi-location businesses
- Analyze and resolve complex technical SEO issues including:
- Site architecture optimization
- Structured data implementation (Schema)
-Page speed and Core Web Vitals improvements
- Mobile optimization
- Google Indexing
- Discover keyword opportunities through routine scans of Search Console
- Collaborate with our web development and copy teams to implement SEO recommendations and best practices
- Create and maintain XML sitemaps and robots.txt files - keep submissions up to date in Google Search Console
- Monitor and diagnose website crawl errors, redirect chains, canonical errors and indexing problems
- Perform scheduled competitive SEO analyses and draft copy or structure optimizations to continue site relevance and authority
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of technical SEO experience
- Proficient in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO (or similar)
- Strong understanding of:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Web development principles
- Search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Experience with schema markup and structured data
- Familiarity with server-side technologies and website architectures
Technical Skills
- Advanced knowledge of on-page and technical SEO techniques
- Ability to read and understand website code (especially for various scripts used in the header and body)
- Experience with log file analysis
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting
