Role Summary

The Technical Service Manager for Lubricant Components in EMEA is responsible for providing technical expertise, customer support, and application development for lubricant components across Turkey and Middle East markets. This role ensures successful implementation of solutions, supports business growth by driving technical projects with the customer, and acts as a technical interface between customers, sales, and global technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical services for lubricant components to OEMs, formulators, and distributors.
• Act as the primary technical contact for regional customers.
• Support product qualifications, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Identify market trends, conduct technical presentations and training sessions.
• Lead technical projects from concept to commercialization.
• Represent BASF Lubricant Components at industry events and trade shows.
• Collaborate with global technical and R&D teams for product development and localization.

Skills

• Ability to position a broad portfolio of solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Ideally strong knowledge of lubricant components, formulations, and testing methods.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and timelines.
• Fluent in English

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in technical service or application development within lubricants or chemical industries is a plus.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles and regional project management.
