About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Service Specialist to join our team in Karachi. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary technical expert on-site, ensuring our coating specifications are met and projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. You will provide professional advice, conduct rigorous inspections, and serve as a key liaison between Jotun, our clients, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Expert Technical Support: Offer professional guidance and clear instructions to clients and applicators on the correct application of Jotun products, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform independent, on-site inspections for assigned projects in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and established working procedures.
• Ensure Specification Compliance: Verify that all coating work meets contractual specifications and customer expectations, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Deliver Comprehensive Reporting: Compile detailed and accurate inspection reports to document project progress, quality standards, and compliance.
• Lead Technical Projects: Work autonomously and lead technical service activities on projects as defined by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven technical experience in protective coatings application, ideally within the marine or industrial sectors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
