Marine Technical Superintendent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established maritime company for a Marine Technical Superintendent to be based in Bahrain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical management and maintenance of assigned vessels
• Plan and supervise dry-docking, repairs, and inspections
• Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, ISM, ISPS, SOLAS & MARPOL
• Manage technical budgets, spares, and maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with shipyards, suppliers, and service providers
• Conduct vessel inspections and support incident investigations
• Monitor vessel performance and implement improvement measures

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10 years of maritime experience
• Shore-based technical management experience preferred
• Chief Engineer sea-going experience is a strong advantage
• Solid knowledge of marine machinery, systems, and compliance
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Willingness to work from Bahrain
