Technical Support Engineer - L1

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive L1 Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing frontline technical assistance to our clients/customers. Your primary objective will be to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming support requests and inquiries from clients/customers.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Provide step-by-step technical guidance and solutions to resolve customer problems.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or appropriate internal teams.
  • Document support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system or CRM.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a software or IT services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) , firewall (FortiGate) and basic networking support.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality support services.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms or virtualization technologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with firewalls is required.
  • UAE valid Driving License is a plus.

Benefits:

Salary : AED 3000/- to 3500/- per month
