Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑level technical support to teachers, students, and administrative staff.
- Troubleshoot issues related to computers, projectors, smart boards, printers, biometric systems, and other campus equipment.
- Support online learning platforms (LMS), ERP systems, attendance software, and examination portals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network devices.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, AMC services, and procurement of IT equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of Wi‑Fi, LAN, and internet connectivity across campus.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and update records regularly.
- Assist in setting up IT infrastructure for classrooms, labs, events, and examinations.
- Provide training or guidance to staff on using digital tools and applications.
- Log issues, track resolutions, and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Ensure data security, backup procedures, and adherence to IT policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Strong understanding of hardware troubleshooting, networking basics, and operating systems.
- Familiarity with educational technologies such as LMS, ERP, smart classroom tools, and online exam systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support non‑technical users.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple support requests.
- Problem‑solving mindset with patience and customer‑centric approach.
