Role Overview

AHK Solutions is seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support & Documentation Associate to assist in the creation, organization, and maintenance of product-related technical documents — such as HLDs (High-Level Designs), LLDs (Low-Level Designs), network diagrams, data flow maps, and other compliance-relevant artifacts.

This role bridges technical engineering and GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), ensuring that our documentation aligns with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and the GRC team to document product architecture, data flows, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Create and maintain HLDs, LLDs, technical specifications, and configuration guides for all major components of the platform.
• Assist GRC in preparing evidence and technical records required for ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits (e.g., change logs, access control lists, backup configurations).
• Support incident response documentation, asset inventory updates, and change management records.
• Develop clear, version-controlled documentation using AHK’s standardized templates and naming conventions.
• Coordinate with IT/Engineering to gather screenshots, logs, and technical proofs for GRC evidence tracking.
• Support user access reviews, system hardening documentation, and data classification mapping.
• Provide occasional Level-1 technical support to internal teams for system documentation or evidence gathering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of technical documentation, diagrams (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io), and version control.
• Familiar with cloud environments (Azure/AWS) and DevOps or system infrastructure concepts.
• Basic understanding of information security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2) preferred.
• Excellent written English and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with GRC, development, and QA teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / 365 tools and SharePoint documentation practices.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to HLD/LLD preparation or system architecture diagrams.
• Familiarity with risk assessment, control mapping, or compliance evidence collection.
