Technical Support Tech I (IT Support/ Help Desk) in New Carlisle, IN

Our client, a Fortune 5 Company, is looking to hire a Technical Support Tech I (IT Support / Help Desk)  in New Carlisle, IN (Onsite).

Shift Details
Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (10-hour shifts)

Pay Rate Range:  $20 to $25/hr W2, depending on experience

Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, and in-person
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
• Log, track, and resolve tickets using a ticketing system
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals
• Support user account setup and access (Active Directory basics)
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation processes
• Ensure timely resolution and maintain SLA compliance

Requirements: 

• 0-3 years of IT support / help desk / desktop support experience
• Basic knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, etc.)
• Familiarity with Windows OS and basic networking concepts
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (preferred)
