Technical Webmaster Content Lead

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Technical Webmaster / Content Lead to ensure Margaritaville at Sea websites and ecommerce platforms are consistently updated, optimized, and performing at peak levels. This role is responsible for overseeing site content management, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with product, UX, and marketing teams to deliver seamless digital experiences. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise and content management skills, balancing day-to-day operations with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Essential Functions:

• Manage website content through CMS platforms: Oversee content updates and publishing across various CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore, Tridion, Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify, or similar, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of digital initiatives.

• Ensure site accuracy, SEO optimization, accessibility, and brand consistency: Maintain high standards for website quality by regularly auditing content for accuracy, optimizing for search engines, ensuring accessibility compliance, and aligning with brand guidelines.

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to site performance, integrations, and plugins: Identify and resolve technical challenges affecting website functionality, including performance issues, third-party integrations, and plugin conflicts, to ensure a seamless user experience.

• Collaborate with UX/UI Designer and Product Manager to implement new features and updates: Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, test, and launch new website features and enhancements that improve usability and support business goals.

• Monitor website analytics, uptime, and page performance; recommend improvements: Track key performance indicators such as site traffic, uptime, and page load speed using analytics tools, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance site performance and user engagement.

• Create and maintain publishing workflows, ensuring timely campaign and content launches: Develop and manage structured workflows for content publishing, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure campaigns and updates go live on schedule and meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience managing website content and operations using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore, Tridion, Adobe Experience Manager, Shopify, or similar.

• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and marketing stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues related to website performance, integrations, and plugins.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and brand consistency across digital platforms.

• Proficiency in monitoring website analytics, uptime, and page performance using tools like Google Analytics, GTmetrix, or similar.

• Ability to create and manage publishing workflows to support timely campaign and content launches.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: No travel

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-person,” which means the physical office in Orlando.
