Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to join our team. The Technical Writer will play a key role in creating clear and comprehensive documentation for our cybersecurity solutions and services, ensuring that our clients and team members can easily understand and utilize our offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high-quality documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and product specifications
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and project managers to gather technical information and translate it into user-friendly content
• Review and edit documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency, adhering to company standards
• Maintain a library of technical documentation and ensure it is updated regularly to reflect new versions and changes
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve documentation quality and usability
• Work with the marketing team to create content that highlights product features and benefits for promotional materials
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and cybersecurity documentation
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT industry
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe RoboHelp, or similar)
• Familiarity with content management systems and version control
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and terminology is a plus
