EPAM is looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will contribute to a dynamic fintech project that is transforming digital financial services across the region.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise and user-friendly documentation that communicates complex financial technology concepts to different stakeholders. Your work will play a critical role in improving product understanding, enabling knowledge transfer and ensuring seamless user experience for our financial services platform.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and QA teams to gather insights, translate technical information into accessible language and maintain documentation standards. Beyond writing, you will help build a strong documentation culture and contribute to continuous improvements in communication practices across the organization.
This position requires working onsite in Abu Dhabi, where you will be part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation for fintech applications and platforms

Create and update user manuals, API guides, release notes and technical specifications

Collaborate with developers, engineers and subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into accessible content

Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent and aligned with project goals and timelines

Manage documentation repositories to guarantee easy access for both internal teams and external users

Incorporate user feedback and product updates to keep all materials current and relevant

Uphold high standards of clarity, accuracy and quality across all documentation

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve fintech documentation
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science or a related field

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical writing or a related role

Proven ability to create technical documentation for software products

Experience in fintech, financial services or technology documentation (preferred)

Proficiency with documentation tools and platforms (Microsoft Office, Confluence, GitBook, Notion)

Familiarity with content management systems and version control tools

Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content

Skilled in research, gathering information and content organization

Hands-on experience with diagramming, visualization, collaboration and project management tools

Strong ability to research and gather information from diverse sources, including hands-on experimentation and SME interviews

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear text and visuals
Nice to have
