Key Responsibilities:
1. Documentation Development

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals, installation guides, configuration guides, operation manuals, and troubleshooting guides.

Write software release notes detailing updates, new features, and bug fixes.

Ensure documentation versions are clearly numbered, with older versions properly archived.

Gather and analyze technical data to ensure accuracy and completeness of content.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into effective documentation.
2. Simplifying Technical Content

Convert complex technical concepts into simple, clear, and concise information suitable for both technical and non-technical users.

Maintain a consistent tone, structure, and terminology across all documents.
3. Technical Content for Multiple Platforms

Produce technical content for digital platforms such as websites, internal knowledge bases, and customer support portals.

Create visual aids such as diagrams, charts, and flowcharts to enhance understanding.

Support bilingual documentation (Arabic and English) for accessibility and localization.
4. Continuous Improvement

Regularly review and update documentation to reflect new features, system changes, and process updates.

Incorporate user feedback and analytics to improve documentation quality and usability.

Implement best practices in documentation management and version control.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5–10 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer in IT, software development, or a related industry.

Excellent command of both
Arabic and English
(spoken and written).
Skills and Competencies:

Strong understanding of IT concepts, software development processes, and technical terminology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.

Proficiency in documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Confluence, Markdown, MS Office, or Docs-as-Code systems).

Experience with API documentation and software release processes is an advantage.

Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Team player with strong collaboration and feedback management skills.
Preferred Experience:

Working knowledge of Git or version control systems for managing documentation.

Experience creating bilingual (Arabic/English) documentation.

Familiarity with software documentation frameworks such as Sphinx, Docusaurus, or similar.

Background in SaaS, software engineering, or IT infrastructure environments.
