Position: Technica Writer - Electrical engineer

Work Location: Bangalore

Background: Electrical engineering

Experience: 3 – 6 years

Budget: 10 – 12 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain structured technical content ensuring clarity, precision, and ease of use
• Ensure documentation complies with corporate and Technical Communications standards.
• Collaborate with team leads to improve processes and best practices.
• Lead/assist in documentation projects (planning, tracking, reporting).
• Develop knowledge of GF technologies, products, tools, and standards.

Job Requirements:

Qualification: Degree or post-graduation in Electronics / relevant information development or technical writing experience in Electronics.

• 3–6 years of experience as Technical Writer in Electronics, Microprocessors, SoC, or Computer Hardware/Software.
• Strong knowledge of technical communication concepts, documentation cycle, and planning.
• Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical inputs from engineers and transform them into user-friendly content.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Embedded Electronics, Microprocessors, System-on-Chip (SoC) Designs, Software & Hardware Engineering.
• Familiarity with Structured Authoring, DITA, XML, HTML, Scripting.
• Hands-on with tools: oXygen XML Editor, CMS, Tortoise SVN, MS Office, MS Visio, Graphics/Multimedia tools.
