Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician who will have a strong background in electrical systems and equipment relevant to power generation, with hands-on experience in outage maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment including: Motors , Switchgears (HV/LV), Transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Power and control cables
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks during plant outages and shutdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, SLD, and manuals.
• Assist in commissioning activities and support system energization in coordination with engineers.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols, quality standards, and nuclear regulatory requirements.
• Document maintenance reports, work orders, and test results accurately.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including mechanical, I&C, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or installation in Power Plant projects.
• Minimum 1 year of experience (preferred) in a Nuclear Power Plant environment.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems such as motors, switchgears, transformers, UPS, and protection systems.
• Proven experience in outage/shutdown maintenance projects.
