Job Purpose:
Support R&D activities by assisting in R&D activities including project execution, data analysis, technical documentation, and providing analytical support to ensure high-quality R&D outputs. Contribute to research proposals and assist in collaborations to enhance the organization's research agenda.
Key Accountabilities:

Technical Experimentation Design & Implementation

Provide timely and effective technical assistance to researchers and engineers, ensuring smooth and efficient progress in R&D experiments.

Operate, maintain, and enhance laboratory equipment to support seamless R&D operations.

Troubleshoot technical issues, recommending solutions to improve experimental processes and ensure adherence to project timelines and objectives.

Produce detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and procedures, ensuring clarity and replicability of processes.

Comply with safety protocols and regulatory standards to maintain integrity and compliance of lab operations.

Systematically collect, record, and analyze experimental data to ensure accuracy and reliability of R&D outcomes.

Prototyping & Piloting Support.

Assist in the hands-on development of prototypes, from conceptualization through to prototyping and implementation, to translate R&D findings into tangible solutions.

Contribute to rigorous testing and validation protocols to ensure high-quality technical deliverables.

Identify opportunities for technological advancements to enhance the efficiency of prototyping processes.

Technology and Occupational Knowledge Transfer Support

Evaluate the technical feasibility of emerging technologies, conducting in-depth assessments to ensure R&D outcomes are both scientifically robust and practically relevant.

Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the organization, promoting the dissemination of technical expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related major.

2+ years of relevant experience.

Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments (e.g., LCMSMS, GCMSMS, ICP).

Hands-on experience with conducting experiments, particularly related to water management and treatment processes.
