Job description:

Role Purpose

A Technician Level 2 is expected to perform maintenance and repairs, of the agreed equipment/systems, to the required manufactures standards. 

Job Accountabilities & Activities

- Independently carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on equipment/systems. In line with individual experience and knowledge.
- When required, work with other team member to complete assigned tasks.
- Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.
- Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with Manufacturers standard times.
- Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.
- Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.
- Provide technical advice colleagues.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

Education & Certifications

• High school education.
• Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification.

Required Years of Experience

4 to 6 years’ work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
