Technician 2

Short Description (Role Purpose)

A Technician Level 2 is expected to perform maintenance and repairs, of the agreed equipment/systems, to the required manufacturers standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

• Independently carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on equipment/systems. In line with individual experience and knowledge.
• When required, work with other team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults, using manufacturers information.
• Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. In line with manufacturers standard times.
• Ensure company/manufacturers policies and procedures followed.
• Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.
• Provide technical advice to colleagues.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

Education & Certifications

• High school education
• Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufacturers qualification

Required Years Of Experience

4 to 6 years' work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment
