Technician 3 (PH)

Demonstrates basic knowledge and skills applicable to clerical duties. Demonstrates efficiency in customer service and mathematics. Assists the pharmacists and other technicians in processing medication orders. Maintains area of responsibility in a neat and orderly manner. Responsible for stocking IV supplies and daily inventory. Demonstrates all basic skills to perform daily activities related to automated dispensing. Knows how to perform unit checks under the direct supervision of a pharmacist for a designated area. Has basic knowledge of pharmacy law and all records that must be maintained. Has basic knowledge and responsibility of all satellite functions. Has knowledge of buying all drugs and supplies for the pharmacy. Has basic teaching skills.
