Technician (Automatic Door)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Automatic Door Technician to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot automatic sliding, swing, sectional, roller shutter, and industrial doors. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with motors, sensors, controllers, access systems, and electrical/mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install automatic sliding, swing, garage, and roller shutter doors at project sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, alignment, and part replacements.
• Diagnose and repair faults in motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring.
• Conduct troubleshooting for sensors, photocells, safety beams, remotes, and access control systems.
• Test door operations to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Respond to emergency repair calls and conduct on-site inspections.
• Maintain service reports, work orders, and checklists for completed jobs.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project managers for installation schedules.
• Ensure all work is executed safely as per company & site protocols.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of automatic sliding & swing door systems.
• Experience with FAAC, CAME, Ditec, Dormakaba, BFT, Beninca, or similar brands.
• Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams and low-voltage systems.
• Good mechanical skills for adjusting belts, tracks, rollers, and gearboxes.
• Ability to identify issues with sensors, control boards, motors, and keypads.
• Basic welding/fabrication knowledge (advantage).
• Troubleshooting skills & strong technical problem-solving ability.
