Job Purpose
The Technician – Electrical will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Install, inspect, and test electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Support electrical works for projects, upgrades, and modifications.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements for electrical systems.
- Coordinate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues effectively.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in [industry—construction, facilities management, manufacturing, etc.].
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and standards.
- Ability to use electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and respond to emergencies.
