Technician – Electrical

Job Purpose

The Technician – Electrical will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Install, inspect, and test electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Support electrical works for projects, upgrades, and modifications.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in [industry—construction, facilities management, manufacturing, etc.].
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and standards.
• Ability to use electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and respond to emergencies.
