Position Title: Technician – Mechanical (Utilities & Water Systems)

Qualification: DAE Mechanical

Department: Engineering / Utilities

Reporting To: Assistant Manager Engineering

Required Experience : 1-2 yrs

Job Purpose

To support day-to-day operation and maintenance of water systems and utility equipment,

ensuring smooth plant operations and compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment systems (raw water, RO, softener, storage tanks,
• and distribution loops).
• Perform routine operation and basic maintenance of pumps, motors, valves, pipelines,
• and related utility equipment.
• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of utilities such as air compressors,
• boilers (if applicable), and water systems.
• Identify leaks, abnormal noises, vibrations, or performance issues and report them
• promptly.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and operational records.
• Support engineering team during shutdowns, repairs, and equipment installation
• activities.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and GMP requirements during all activities.
• Coordinate with senior engineers for troubleshooting and corrective actions.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, mechanical seals, bearings, and piping.
• Understanding of utility systems, especially water handling systems.
• Ability to use basic mechanical tools and measuring instruments.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to breakdown calls.
• Good safety awareness and discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs35,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Relevant: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
