We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Management Accountant, preferably with experience in the Software Technology sector, to join our fast-paced division. You will be involved across day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across the business.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes under UK and US GAAP.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and KPIs relevant to SaaS and software operations, including capital expenditure on product development.
- Preparation and posting of journals (e.g. payroll, accrued and deferred income, accruals, prepayments, depreciation)
- Manage revenue recognition in line with software licensing and subscription models (e.g., IFRS 15).
- Understand and support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for each entity.
- Understand and support of customer billing, including liaison with the Commercial team over annual renewals.
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
- Liaise with other Group entities to ensure Inter-Company accounts balance.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly forecasts to support operational and investment planning.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT reporting to Group.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across the division.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to align financial reporting with business performance.
- Support with external audit process, to include but not limited to document preparation & submission, support on interim and final audit testing, liaising with auditors.
- Assist with tax preparation providing documentation as requested by external advisors or Head of Tax.
- Continuously improve financial systems and processes, including automation.

Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent), with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE.
- Experience in the software or technology sector preferred.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, deferred revenue, and cost capitalisation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks preferred) and strong Excel skills.
