How you'll make an impact

As a Platform Project Manager on Gallagher’s Digital Offerings team, you will play a pivotal role in Gallagher Guide's Total Rewards technology initiative, collaborating with business partners, technical teams, and clients to oversee solution implementations and support new product development. You will facilitate alignment between business goals and technology delivery, ensuring solutions that meet our client needs.

Gallagher Guide’s Total Rewards platform enables employees and members to maximize their compensation and rewards using integrated, user-centric technology to drive wellbeing across benefits, financial, and career programs. It creates a seamless environment where employees, members, and organizations can thrive. From healthcare plan decision support to financial wellbeing guidance, the scalable platform helps users understand and optimize their rewards and benefits packages, ensuring workforce satisfaction and overall wellbeing. Working from the Business side, the Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams toward the successful execution of project deliveries and product initiatives, guiding the analyst team to configure platform capabilities such as authentication, content management (CMS), messaging, modelling, single sign-on (SSO), wellness, and data analytics. The role is designed for professionals ready to enhance their digital consulting career by gaining exposure to strategic projects, mentorship from senior leaders, to further develop the skills needed to advance within Gallagher’s dynamic and growing Digital Offerings team.

Responsibilities

Coordination
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to project managers, clients, and non-technical audiences with clarity and precision.
  • Collaborate with architecture, development, and maintenance teams using technologies such as Angular, Azure, Microservices, MS SQL, .NET Core.
  • Partner with distributed technical, product, and client teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and client needs.
  • Manage project and product prioritizations to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, Agile methodologies, and platform health through performance optimization, monitoring, and release management.
  • Support Gallagher Guide’s modernization initiative and contribute to the platform’s strategic roadmap and application enhancements.

Oversight
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and clients.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, including progress monitoring, risk mitigation, issue resolution, production deployment, and system rollout.
  • Leverage data integration, API workflows, and SSO solutions to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Function as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and other leaders to align with corporate standards, product strategies, and long-term technology goals.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies to support Gallagher innovation, such as cloud-native architectures, search, SSO (SAML 2.0, OAuth), and API development.
  • Triage issues and coordinate resources to resolve issues with client implementations.

About You

Required:
  • Deep experience in communicating complex technical concepts in relevant terms to audiences of varying technical aptitude
  • 7+ years of experience managing or implementing software development projects, including distributed teams.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and people skills.
  • Exposure to full-stack web development, including Angular, Azure, MS SQL, .NET Core, or experiencing managing teams that implement solution using these technologies.
  • Familiar with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and environment management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a challenging environment.
  • Proficient with web application security best practices and data transfer protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of data handling best practices and SQL script to debug issues with client data
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills for managing complex projects.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and API lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to lead offshore development teams and collaborate across global teams.
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Compensation and benefits


We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
