Technology Risk Management Officer

We are seeking a Technology Risk Management Officer to join a well-known Islamic Bank in Bahrain. This role focuses on cyber and information security risk , ensuring effective risk control, vendor assessments, and incident reviews. The officer will act as an individual contributor at an expert professional level, supporting operational accountability and reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Risk Control Self-Assessments of technology domains.
• Perform risk assessments of third parties and vendors.
• Execute risk management processes across IT functions.
• Develop management reports and dashboards to track risk indicators.
• Review and investigate technology incident reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (BE in Computer Science & Engineering).
• 4-6 years of relevant experience, Banking experience is a plus
• Certifications: CobIT, CISA, ITIL, CRISC.
• Leadership Exposure: Operational focus and accountability.
