About the Role:
We’re hiring a Head of Internal Technology Solutions to lead the design and deployment of practical, efficient, and scalable internal tools and platforms. You will work directly with the CEO and operational leaders across departments to identify problems and build systems that solve them.
This role is about delivering impact through internal tools — not building client-facing software or external products. You'll work across the group to consolidate operational needs into cohesive, streamlined systems and reduce reliance on multiple disconnected platforms.
You’ll be tasked with reducing digital sprawl — consolidating fragmented tools, eliminating duplication, and replacing scattered spreadsheets with cohesive, centralized systems.
You will also oversee refinement of specific internal platforms such as our auction system, ensuring usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
This is a hands-on, high-leverage role for a builder-leader hybrid who can design, deliver, and scale internal technology solutions in a real-world, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Act as the central lead for all internal technology and systems development across the group.
● Design and implement tools for operations, inventory, procurement, finance, HR, and other functions.
● Identify inefficiencies and translate business needs into scalable digital workflows.
● Automate manual processes and reduce dependence on spreadsheets and siloed systems.
● Consolidate and integrate legacy platforms and third-party tools into a streamlined internal architecture.
● Architect integrations and data flows across teams to ensure reliable and real-time information.
● Oversee improvement and deployment of internal platforms (e.g., auction tools, internal dashboards).
● Scope solutions, select platforms, and engage freelance or contract-based technical talent where needed.
● Document systems, onboard teams, and provide internal support and training.
● Build a long-term roadmap for a scalable internal tech stack.

This role sits at the heart of our operations. It’s not about writing strategy decks — it’s about designing tools that work in the real world, under real constraints, with real users.
You’ll have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think in systems. You’re equally comfortable building tools yourself and directing others to build them.
Required:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience building internal tools, systems, or automation solutions within an operational environment.
● Experience with both custom development and low-code/no-code tools.
● Solid understanding of system architecture, data flows, and integrations.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Experience working cross-functionally across business teams.
● Ability to lead technical projects and manage freelance or contract-based talent.
● Strong sense of ownership, delivery, and decision-making in a lean environment.
Nice to Have:
● Experience working in process-heavy or operations-driven environments (retail, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chains).
● Exposure to building internal platforms that consolidate reporting, dashboards, and operational tools.
● Experience improving or managing internal auction or transaction platforms.
● Knowledge of good documentation practices and user onboarding for internal systems.
